District 33 hosting dual-language job fair

West Chicago Elementary District 33 will host a bilingual and dual-language job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Educational Service Center, 312 E. Forest Ave., West Chicago.

The district is looking to fill several open positions for the current school year, including a dual-language teacher. In addition, the district is seeking to fill anticipated bilingual/dual-language teacher openings for the 2015-16 school year.

In conjunction with the job fair, the district is hoping to increase its substitute teacher pool and will process interested candidates.

Candidates should bring a photo ID, college transcripts and a resume. Those seeking employment as a substitute teacher are encouraged to submit an online application in the Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS) prior to the event.

However, computers will be available at the job fair for submitting online applications that day.
