Old-time radio fun in Grayslake:

An old-time radio play will be offered at Grayslake Area Public Library on Sunday, Jan. 25. Those Were the Days Radio Players of Lake County will perform from 3 to 4 p.m. This concert is free and all ages are welcome. Visitors will return to the bygone days of old-time radio as the group performs "The IRS Pays a Visit" from "The Jack Benny Show." The screwball comedy has IRS agents questioning Benny on some fishy entertainment deductions, and when the true story of these charges is revealed, they bring to light the comic's frugal ways. Those Were the Days Radio Players of Lake County perform dramatic comedy scripts from the 1930s to the '50s. The library is at 100 Library Lane, Grayslake.
