District 25 administrator gets national award

Arlington Heights School District 25 staff member Coletta Hines-Newell recently was named a recipient of a national award in the school nutrition industry.

The School Nutrition Foundation's School Nutrition Hero Award, which was established last year in conjunction with the foundation's 50th anniversary, is presented to five individuals nationally to recognize school nutrition professionals who are passionate about their operations and go above and beyond their daily job responsibilities in the service to children and their communities.

Hines-Newell is director of food services for District 25. The award will be presented on March 2 in conjunction with SNA's Annual Legislative Action Conference in Washington, D.C.
