Animal Hospital of Lake Villa hosts fundraiser

The Animal Hospital of Lake Villa recently hosted its Third Annual Craft Fair and Bake Sale featuring pet pictures with Santa McGinniss. The event featured donated baked goods and handcrafted gifts. Anything from handmade soaps to candles to aprons. Proceeds from the bake sale went to The American Cancer Society. The event raised nearly $600.

The event also featured pet pictures with one of the veterinarians as "Santa McGinniss." The pictures were $5 and raised $165 for Petropolis Inc., a local rescue group.

The hospital also sold some donated beanie babies, which raised $200 for Lake Villa's Lost Angels, a local rescue group within the hospital, which just took in a new cat renamed Twitch, who was actually at the craft fair looking for his forever home.
