Mount Prospect, IL - The Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association (MPDMA) will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at the Mount Prospect Public Library (10 S. Emerson, Mount Prospect, IL).

The purpose of the annual meeting is to review the organization's successes in the past year, to kick-off the next year with goals and to network with other Mount Prospect businesses. "We are excited for 2015 given that 2014 was so successful for us in terms of our events. We will continue to grow our membership and bring awareness and patrons to downtown Mount Prospect," said Chad Busse, 2015 President of the MPDMA.

The MPDMA is an association promoting downtown Mount Prospect by providing joint event planning, press releases, advertising, and cross-promoting of downtown merchants' events. The organization sponsors a series of events, such as the Pub Crawl, Blues Mobile Cruise Nights and Oktoberfest. MPDMA events seek to: bring residents downtown, raise awareness of downtown businesses, foster a sense of community among the downtown business owners, and generate excitement among the residents for future events.
