Rollover crash injures man in Lisle

Maple Avenue in Lisle was shut down for a half-hour Wednesday morning as police responded to a rollover crash that injured one man.

The crash at 7:20 a.m. on the 1900 block of Maple Avenue involved a red truck and another vehicle, Lisle Deputy Police Chief Ron Wilke said.

The truck rolled over in the eastbound lanes of Maple near the Four Lakes apartment community, and the man who was driving it was taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville with minor injuries, Wilke said.

Traffic on Maple was shut down for roughly 30 minutes as police investigated the crash. Wilke said officers still were interviewing witnesses about 9 a.m. Wednesday to determine whether a ticket should be issued to the driver of the truck.
