Angelou chosen for Mundelein book club selection
Maya Angelou's "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" is Mundelein's book club selection for January, officials have announced.
The village's Human Relations Commission invites residents to read the book then take part in a community discussion Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Fremont Public Library, 1170 North Midlothian Road, Mundelein.
Copies of the book, both in paper and audio form, are available free at the library to anyone with a valid system library card.
