Free fitness expo in Camelot Community Center

The Arlington Heights Park District is holding its first Fitness Expo Saturday, Jan. 3, just in time to aid in fulfilling those New Year's resolutions. The free expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the district's newly renovated Camelot Community Center, 1005 E. Suffield Drive.

The event is open to ages 18 and up and everyone is encouraged to come dressed to participate or simply spectate as park district fitness instructors lead demonstrations in yoga, indoor cycling, zumba and other activities. Locker rooms sill be available for use. Pure Juice Café will provide smoothie samples, Corner Bakery will provide healthy salad samples and a Jewel nutritionist will offer nutrition advice. Staff will provide information and accept registrations for classes ranging from student athlete training to weight management.
