Lack of snow doesn't deter skiers at Lisle's Four Lakes

Snow? Who needs snow?

In the midst of one of the least snowy Decembers in our recorded history, skiers and snowboarders still were able to hit the slopes Tuesday at Lisle's Four Lakes Ski and Snowboard Area thanks to a combination of colder temperatures and the wonders of snow-making equipment.

Young skiers were able to take lessons at the hill at 5750 Lakeside Drive, and with temperatures expected to remain chilly over the next several days, maintaining and building on that layer of snow should be a piece of cake.

This year mark's the facility's 51st season in Lisle.
