To those who don't use turn signals

I would like to address the use of directional signals (turn signal) on vehicles. I observe daily that people do not know when to use them or simply don't think they need to use them.

Maybe they think it's for them to decide, not what is written as a law. When they took their drivers test did they not use signals? Bet if they didn't they would have failed. Or are they not teaching the use of them any more?

Seems the generation whose parents neglected to discipline them are on the road in hoards wearing headphones, using their cellphones and texting on their cellphones. Certainly they are too busy to bother letting the guy driving next to them on the freeway know they are just going to change lanes with no warning. Hey, and if he blows his horn flip him off because he must be in the wrong! You could never be. Your parents led you to believe it's all about you.

Then let's talk about the guys who purchase Hummers or BMW's, and even Mercedes. Those cars are awesome and come with all kinds of great gadgets. They also have turning signals and are to be used. You are not special to anyone else but yourselves. Who cares what you are driving or what it cost. Your goatee looks stupid, too. Grow up and learn how to drive.

Then there is the infamous four-way stop. Guess what, you drivers out there: The guy facing you does not know you plan to cut in front of him when he starts going forward after stopping. He would have, if you would have used your signal.
