Holiday travel bid by man accused in naked fall

BOSTON (AP) - A man who police say fell naked through the ceiling of a women's bathroom at Logan International Airport and then assaulted an elderly man will not be going home for the holidays.

The Suffolk District Attorney's office says a Boston judge on Tuesday denied 26-year-old Cameron Shenk's request that his home confinement be lifted so he could spend Christmas with his family in Utah.

Prosecutors opposed the request.

Police said Shenk undressed inside a bathroom stall last month and climbed into the ceiling crawl space. He fell through the ceiling, fled and allegedly assaulted an 84-year-old man.

Shenk previously was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and random drug tests.

His lawyer said he was a student at Harvard Extension School and has no history of mental illness.
