Waddle & Reed Christmas event benefits children in need

Eric Van Ness, CFP® a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed organized this year's event and indicates, "We collected 277 toys and 15 books for local children, who otherwise might be forgotten at Christmas."

The program was founded in 1947 by reservist Major William L. Hendricks. The Marine Corps Reserve proudly celebrates its 67th year of collecting toys, and they depend on loyal contributors like Waddell & Reed to make the program an ongoing success.

Founded in 1937, Waddell & Reed has today grown to more than 150 registered offices nationwide. The company offers a wide array of investment products and services, as well as a variety of insurance products through arrangements with outside insurance companies.
