Central High students named State Scholars

Central High School students were recently named to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission's 2015-2016 State Scholars List for outstanding academic achievement.

Selection to the list is based on a combination of students' scores on standardized tests and their class rank or GPA. Approximately the top 10 percent of graduates from approved high schools are announced as State Scholars each year. High school guidance counselors work in conjunction with ISAC to determine the winners. For more information about the list, visit isac.org.
