Golic's lost bet to pay off for Indiana homeless

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A lost bet is going to pay off for a northern Indiana homeless center.

"Mike & Mike in the Morning" co-hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg placed a bet when their alma maters, Northwestern and Notre Dame, played a football game in November. Golic, a former Notre Dame standout defensive lineman, paid off the bet by re-creating a Kim Karashian pose.

Golic then made a T-shirt of that and he and his family wore them on a Christmas card. ESPN viewers started asking how they could get the shirts. So a company started making them.

Golic tells the South Bend Tribune the money from the sales will go the Center for the Homeless in South Bend. Golic says he's thrilled the bet will ultimately end up benefiting others.
