Grayslake Historical Society and Museum's open house

The Grayslake Historical Society and Museum held an open house on Sunday, Dec. 14.

Visitors toured the museum's newly remodeled annex and the gift shop was open for shopping. Children had a chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and have photos taken in the society's vintage sleigh.

The Warren Township High School alumni choir offered entertainment while children created ornaments and made chain links for the society's children's tree.

The Grayslake Historical Society was founded in 1976 and is dedicated to promoting and preserving the village of Grayslake's pioneering history.
