Library's NextGen group sets January events

A fitness fair, book discussion and trivia night will take place in January for members of the NextGen Group at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

NextGen, a social group for people in their 20s and 30s, is always open to new members. To register for NextGen programs, email nextgen@stdl.org or call (847) 923-3140.

A Fitness Fair and Self-Defense Class will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, in the Rasmussen South Room. No registration is required for this class.

The Young(ish) Adult Book Club will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Cup and Vine, 55 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg's Town Square. January's title will be "Say What You Will" by Cammie McGovern. Registration is required.

Trivia Night will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at America's Bar, 2308 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates. Participants may enter as teams of two to seven, or come alone and be placed on a team. No registration is required.
