Northwestern College's Rosemont staff hosts food drive for Our Lady of Hope

Northwestern College's Rosemont Administrative Office recently concluded a two-week food drive within the Cisco Building at 9501 Technology Drive where it operates, across from the Rosemont Theater and adjacent to the Factory Outlets of Chicago Mall.

The food drive was held to benefit the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church's Food Pantry in Rosemont, which primarily serves the Rosemont area, but also parts of Park Ridge and Des Plaines. This was the second time that Northwestern College has expanded its philanthropic efforts to include Cisco and the other tenants in its building. For 10 years, the college has collected donations for Our Lady of Hope's Food Pantry at various times throughout the year.

The college collected nonperishable food in donation boxes in the Cisco Building's main lobby in addition to via boxes placed in its own fourth floor offices. The generosity of others was very much appreciated by Northwestern College as well as Our Lady of Hope.

Michelle Garnett, Northwestern College's office manager, spearheaded the efforts on behalf of the college in Rosemont, with assistance from Gail and Lauren Schumacher of its staff.
