The hits keeps coming for Rolling Meadows

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the records keep breaking for Rolling Meadows.

Freshman Josh Dellorto updated a mark from 2002 with his victory in the 200-yard freestyle on Friday as the host Mustangs topped Wheeling 112-74.

Dellorto finished the 200 in 1:48.54 and also won the 500 free (5:03.73), along with having legs on the winning 200 medley and 200 free relays.

Kuba Debkowski won the 50 free (22.74) for Meadows, and Jake Barson took the 100 breast (1:00.53) for Meadows.

Wheeling junior Jake Noel won the 100 fly (55.28), the 200 IM (2:01.97) and anchored the winning 400 free relay (3:24.67), while Kyle Noel won the 100 free (50.30) and 100 back (57.38).

The win improved Rolling Meadows' record against MSL East opponents to 2-0, as Milo the Mustang (Rolling Meadows' mascot) made what is believed to be his first appearance in support of the swimming team.

Palatine d. Hoffman Estates: The host Pirates stayed unbeaten in duals with a 115-70 victory thanks in part to victories in all three relays.

Pirates senior Jacob Baran edged the Hawks' Andy Hobar in a terrific race in the 200-meter free (2:07.49-2:07.76) and also had legs on the winning medley and 200 free relays.
