Mount Prospect man admits driving on revoked license

A Mount Prospect man with two DUI convictions pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked or suspended license earlier this month, court records show.

Dean McKinney, 50, who prosecutors said was sentenced to three years in prison for DUI in 2011, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 30 months probation in exchange for admission to driving on a revoked license.

Additionally, McKinney was ordered to pay $694 in fines, court records show.

Police arrested McKinney for traffic violations in September and subsequently charged him with DUI after he failed one field sobriety test and refused others, prosecutors said during his bond hearing in September.
