Additional man sought in Aurora shooting

Aurora police are asking the public for assistance in locating a suspect in a Nov. 24 shooting on the city's west side.

Patrick F. Maloney, 20, whose last known address is on the 700 block of North Gladstone Avenue, faces single counts of attempted murder and attempted armed robbery.

A warrant for his arrest was issued Dec. 3.

Maloney is accused of driving one of the vehicles involved in an attempted drug rip-off involving two groups of men on the 2000 block of Coral Avenue.

Maloney is a white man, 6'2", 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He is the brother of Antonio Isais, 18, of Aurora, who faces the same charges as Maloney and another suspect in connection with the shooting.

Isais and another man, a 20-year-old Aurora resident, were shot in the incident but have since been released from an Aurora hospital. Isais is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail at the Kane County Correctional Center in St. Charles. The 20-year-old has not been charged.

The third suspect, Jordy Arreola, 17, of the 600 block of North Avenue in Aurora, is also charged with attempted murder and attempted armed robbery. He remains in the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center in St. Charles and is charged as an adult in the case.

Anyone with information on Maloney's whereabouts should call police at (630) 256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000.
