Candidates file for seats on Bartlett village board

Two candidates have filed nominating petitions for three available seats on Bartlett's village board.

Longtime Trustee T.L. Arends - first elected in 1991 - is seeking another four-year term on the board in the April 7 election. The other candidate is Raymond Deyne, chair of the village's plan commission and the Hanover Township Foundation secretary and treasurer.

As of Thursday afternoon, the other two incumbents whose seats are up - trustees Greg Martin and Eric Shipman - have not turned in paperwork.

The deadline to file is Monday.
