Finish holiday shopping at the Schaumburg Park District

Spring Valley's Woods & Fields Shop features gift items for adventurers of all ages.

Located in Schaumburg Park District's Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road, the shop offers unique and inexpensive gift items for the nature enthusiast. Items include nature-themed T-shirts, wildflower and bird field guides, starter rock and mineral collections, maple syrup and locally-produced honey.

"The shop here at Spring Valley is a great place to find gifts," said Mary Rice, education coordinator at Spring Valley. "Many of the items focus on Illinois plants, animals and even honey."

The new 2015 Spring Valley wall calendar will bring nature to any room with beautiful images of wildflowers, Heritage Farm and scenery. Calendars are $10.
