Coyotes pull out 2-1 win over Oilers in OT

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored with 0.3 seconds left in overtime, and the Arizona Coyotes beat the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 Tuesday night to end a team-record nine-game home losing streak.

The game appeared to be headed to a shootout, but Ekman-Larsson took a feed from Sam Gagner and beat Ben Scrivens just before the horn sounded. Ekman-Larsson was swarmed by teammates after helping the Coyotes end a five-game losing streak overall.

Brandon McMillan scored his first goal of the season and Arizona set a franchise record with 27 shots in the second period to extend its points streak to 17 games against Edmonton, a franchise mark against one team.

Devan Dubnyk stopped 30 shots for the Coyotes.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored and Scrivens stopped 42 shots for the Oilers in their first game since coach Dallas Eakins was fired on Monday. Edmonton has lost 16 of 17.
