Hoffman Estates bank robbed Monday morning

Hoffman Estates police and the FBI are investigating a robbery Monday morning at Hoffman Estates Community Bank.
Officers got the call at 8:52 a.m. The bank is at 2200 W. Higgins Road.
According to witnesses, a man wearing a gray hoody entered the bank and passed a note demanding money to the teller. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the bank and the man ran north from the building.
Nobody was injured and no weapon was shown, police said.
The only description of the robber is that he was approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build.
