Mt. Prospect church choir performs in a Christmas tree

Community Presbyterian Church in Mount Prospect offered an unusual twist Friday night to the traditional church choir singing Christmas music.

Each Christmas, the congregation places members of the choir among the branches of a huge Christmas tree, providing a very different experience.

The Living Christmas Tree performance will be repeated at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the church, 407 N. Main St.

Admission is free. For more information, call (847) 392-6231, or visit www.cpchurch.org.
