Attorney General Eric Holder to visit Chicago

Attorney General Eric Holder plans to talk about law enforcement and community relations in Chicago.

The Justice Department says Holder will be in Chicago on Friday. President Barack Obama asked Holder to set up the meetings in the wake of clashes between protesters and police in Ferguson, Missouri, last month.

The first meeting was Dec. 1 in Atlanta at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. preached. There, Holder said he would soon unveil Justice Department guidance aimed at ending racial profiling. He has since held similar meetings in Cleveland, Ohio, and Memphis, Tennessee. More are scheduled in Oakland, California, and Philadelphia.

Holder announced his resignation in September after serving as the nation's first black attorney general.
