Ring in the New Year with the Schaumburg Park District

Tots will welcome 2015 with their very own New Year's Eve party.

Schaumburg Park District's annual Itsy Bitsy New Year's Eve Countdown will celebrate the end of 2014 from 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 31 at the Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road. Children will enjoy unstructured activities, inflatables and riding toys.

"This is a great way for families with younger children to celebrate New Year's Eve," said Karen Shannon, Sport Center manager. "Instead of staying awake until midnight they will count down at noon and have a balloon drop!"

Itsy Bitsy New Year's Eve Countdown is a Schaumburg CAN (Children - Activity - Nutrition) program. Schaumburg CAN's mission is to align the community around opportunities to build a foundation of healthy activity and nutrition for children.

This event is for ages 1 to 6 years old.

Pre-registration cost is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Day-of registration is $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents.
