Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Elgin hosts successful toy drive

Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Elgin, in conjunction with the Marine Corps League Elgin Detachment 077, hosted it annual Toys For Tots drive on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Toys and cash donations were generously given by students, their families, friends and neighbors. The morning also included breakfast and visit with Santa.

"We often provide opportunities for our students to demonstrate their leadership in the community," said Rick Steinmaier, chief instructor. "By far, this event is the most magical. It's a win-win for everyone."

Late donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted through Saturday, Dec. 13. It can be dropped off at the academy, located at 792 S. McLean Blvd. in Elgin.
