New Lincolnshire utility bills:

Effective Jan. 1, Lincolnshire residents and businesses will no longer receive the post card-style utility bill currently used, village officials said. The new full letter-size invoice format offers plenty of space to report gallons used, pricing, and applicable village codes related to water and sewer services. The newly designed bills have the ability to improve data capture and reliability of receipt processing via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capabilities. Bills will also include a reply envelope with return address added for convenience and delivery accuracy. These changes also give the village the opportunity to insert additional information to improve communication with residents at a savings.
