Moeller, Noland to host Holiday Open House in Elgin

State Rep. Anna Moeller, D-Elgin, announced that she is teaming with state Sen. Michael Noland, D-Elgin, for a Holiday Open House at the district office of Sen. Noland from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10.

"This holiday season is a good time to reflect on the year and to bring our community together," Moeller said. "I look forward to working with Sen. Noland, community leaders, and residents to keep our community moving in the right direction heading into the new year."

The Holiday Open House will be held at Sen. Noland's constituent service office, 164 Division St., Suite 102, in downtown Elgin. The open house will provide residents an opportunity to speak with Moeller and Noland about the upcoming legislative session, which begins in early January, or any other issues.

Also, donations of new or gently used winter clothing will be collected and given to the Salvation Army and the Community Crisis Center to help local families in need.

"Rep. Moeller said it perfectly," Noland said. "The holidays are the perfect time to come together and the perfect opportunity to create new beginnings."
