Libertyville realty group gives Thanksgiving meals to families in need

For more than 20 years, the agents and staff of the Koenig & Strey Libertyville office, now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group, collected donations and prepared complete Thanksgiving meals for less-fortunate Lake County families.

This year, the Libertyville office provided 100 full Thanksgiving dinners for Lake County families and continued the tradition Nov. 25 at Mariano's grocery store in Vernon Hills.

"One of the most important things for our company is to give back, and we are thankful for the generous support of our agents and the community that helped organize the Thanksgiving dinners we provided for those that are in need," said Nancy Nagy, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group.

"Sometimes it can be easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the end of the year, and it's just part of the reason why we love to hold this event," said Michael Dean, vice president and managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Libertyville Office.

"We are able to stop, work together, and give our time to help residents in need right here in Lake County. It's also an opportunity to work with the community and bring awareness to a struggle that is still very real locally and nationally."
