Tennis stars John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, Jim Courier and James Blake will play a series of exhibition matches at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates next year as part of the PowerShares QQQ Challenge.

Tickets for the April 2 event, ranging in price from $253 for courtside seats to $38, went on sale Monday at the Sears Centre website, searscentre.com.

Under the planned format, the exhibition will feature two one-set semifinal matches, followed by a one-set championship match. The first match will begin at 7 p.m., with the championship set to begin at 8:30 p.m. Pairings have not been disclosed.

According to the PowerShares QQQ Challenge website, there also will be opportunities earlier in the day to play with the former pros, attend a "player party experience" and visit backstage.

McEnroe is a seven-time Grand Slam champion and former number one ranked player in the world who now works as a tennis commentator. Roddick, another former world No. 1, won the 2003 U.S. Open and appeared in four other Grand Slam finals. Courier's four Grand Slam titles include the 1991 and 1992 Frands Opens and the 1992 and 1993 Australian Opens. Blake is a 10-time tournament champion who reached No. 4 in the world rankings in 2006.
