Holiday cheer abundant at Lombard's Jinglebell Jubilee

There was plenty of dancing and singing and ho-ho-hos in downtown Lombard Saturday evening during the village's annual Jinglebell Jubilee.

Students from The Dance Centre kicked off the night with performances of scenes from "The Nutcracker" in business windows.

Guests had a chance to view a pop-up art gallery in Lombard Town Centre's office and visit with "ninja elves" from Sky Centers Martial Arts before heading to Lilacia Park, where Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance and a lights show took place.

There was caroling at the Maple Street Chapel, short concerts by the Glenbard East Madrigal Singers at the library and candlelight Christmas tours in the Victorian Cottage.

Sponsors included the village, Lombard Park District, Lombard Town Centre, Lombard Historical Society, Maple Street Chapel and the Helen M. Plum Memorial Library.
