Anderson Animal Shelter holds collection drive Dec. 13-14

Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin is asking you to help them raise funds by cleaning out your closet and home of any unwanted jewelry, clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, bedding and linens, bath items, electronics, toys, small furniture, small appliances, books, magazines, CDs and more.

The donated items can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14, at the shelter's storage facility in South Elgin. For directions or information, call (847) 697-2880, ext. 25, or email development@andersonanimalshelter.org.

The shelter will earn money for every pound donated. Your unwanted or unused items can help shelter residents. Last year, almost 10,000 pounds of goods were collected from people and organizations like you. Help them beat that number this December.
