Consider volunteering with AID

Enrich the lives of adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs by becoming a volunteer with the Association for Individual Development.

AID offers many volunteer opportunities in the Aurora, Elgin, Batavia and Yorkville locations. Currently the need is most great between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Share your natural talents with our clients perhaps by assisting with arts and crafts projects; teaching special classes such as cooking or basic computer skills, helping to coordinate community outings, being a sunshine caller and checking-in on our clients, using your office skills for clerical support or reception and many more.

Volunteer phone operators and backstage personnel are needed at the annual telethon on March 14, 2015.

Your gift of time, talent and compassion can change a life. Visit the website at www.the-association.org and click on "Support" to complete a volunteer application, or call Maureen at (630) 966-4020.
