Dangling worker rescued from Chicago cell tower

Chicago fire authorities say a worker has been rescued after dangling by his harness from a cell tower for more than 30 minutes.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports fire department spokesman Larry Langford said the man slipped Thursday evening and was stuck hanging from the tower on the city's South Side. It's unclear how high up he was working or dangling.

Responders rescued the man after about 35 minutes. He wasn't injured.

Langford says the man was one of two people working on the tower.
