NISRA performs "High School Musical, Jr."

Exuberant sounds of singing, dancing & acting will echo through the Cosman Theater in Huntley this month when young actors with disabilities perform excerpts from "High School Musical, Jr."

The public is invited to attend performances at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, or 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13.

After practicing for 10 weeks, 19 participants in Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association theater programs will show off their acting skills in a one-hour version of the popular musical.

All seats are general admission and tickets can be purchased at the door for $2 each. Tickets help to offset costs of the production.

The Cosman Theater is in the Huntley Park District REC Center, 12015 Mill St. in Huntley.
