Missing Arlington Heights woman found safe
A woman who was reported missing earlier this week was found safe on Thursday night, Arlington Heights police said.
Police said Jennifer Anderson, 33, was last seen about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when she took a taxi from Arlington Heights to the area of Garden Avenue and Lake Street in Bloomingdale. She had contact with a family member about 9 p.m. Wednesday and indicated she wanted to die, police said.
On Thursday night, police said Anderson had made contact with her family and was in good health. She was found in the Bloomingdale area and there was no indication of foul play, police said.
"We breathe a sigh of relief when it ends this way instead of any other way," said Sgt. Joe Pinnello.
