Community Concert Band Presents their Annual Holiday Concert
It's that magical time of year when the music of the season fills us with joy and excitement. Many of our memories are linked to special holiday tunes. Stir past memories and make new ones at the Community Concert Band's annual holiday concert as they present, "Ring in the Holidays".
The band will ring in the holidays with seasonal favorites including Fantasy on a Bell Carol, A Christmas Celebration, In the Bleak Midwinter, and The Bells of Christmas.
The Des Plaines Park District Community Concert Band, under the direction of William G. Gilmer, performs on Sunday, December 7, 3:00pm at the Prairie Lakes Theater. Purchase you tickets early and save. Advance ticket prices are: seniors and students $4; adults $6; and a family of four $12. Prices on December 7 are: seniors and students $5; adults $8; and family $15. Children under the age of 5 are free. Prairie Lakes Theater, 515 E. Thacker Street, Des Plaines.
