Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice offers "Hope during the Holidays"

The approaching holiday season can trigger powerful emotions for those who have recently lost a loved one. If you or someone you know could use some help getting through some of the holiday's most difficult times, Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice is offering "Hope for the Holidays."

Participants will gain coping skills for the holiday season and ideas for incorporating the memory of the loved one into holiday traditions.

"Hope for the Holidays" will be offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the hospice, 200 Whitfield Drive, Geneva. The evening will close with a short candlelight remembrance service.

It is free, but registration is required in advance by calling (630) 232-2233.

All programs and services of Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice, a nonprofit organization supporting those with life-threatening illness and the bereaved, are offered free to residents of Kane and Kendall counties, and parts of DuPage, Cook, and McHenry counties. Spanish interpretation is available for all programs. For more information on the agency, visit fvvh.org.
