Dog CPR, first aid training:

Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue is offering classes in dog first aid and CPR. The video-based training covers common emergencies experienced by dogs including bleeding wounds, burns, poisoning, fractures, and the ill effects of heat and cold … with special emphasis on canine CPR. Class participants will experience hands-on skills practice on dog mannequins including "Cardio" a life-size full functioning dog CPR mannequin. The classes will be held at Our House of Hope's Libertyville Training Center, 1840 Industrial Drive, Suite 330. There is no tuition fee for these classes, but a $20 (tax deductible) donation to Our House of Hope's Medical Fund will be appreciated. For information and to register for a class session, call Lisa Krinninger, (773) 552-4673.
