MHS holiday concert:
The Mundelein High School bands and choirs will combine to present a holiday concert Thursday, Dec. 11, beginning at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. The concert is free. The music groups will perform standard and holiday tunes. Some of the choir selections will be "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch," "Santa Baby," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Candlelight Carol" and "Fum, Fum, Fum." Band highlights will include "Sleigh Ride," "Sugar Rum Cherry," "Trepak" and "An Irving Berlin Christmas." Together, the groups will conclude the concert with the popular "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah.
