Believe Project: $100 will help single mom who lost home in fire

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Kerry Sainato of Roselle.

Here is her pitch:

"The house two doors down the street from me on the opposite side burned down while the single mother was at work and her two children were at daycare. If that isn't tragedy enough, she has been battling breast cancer from the last year and a half while taking care of two small children all by herself. She lost everything in the fire, including her beloved cat. This money would help her and the kids buy the day-to-day necessities to go on with their lives."

• The Believe Project will award $100 each day in December to a different person with a good idea for how to use $100 to do a good deed for someone else.
