'Dickens of a Sale,' visit with Santa on Dec. 6-7

The Dundee Township Historical Society will sponsor its annual "Dickens of a Sale" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Main and Fourth streets in West Dundee. New, vintage, and gently used Christmas items will be on sale at affordable prices.

Members of the church also will sponsor a soup and sandwich luncheon and bake sale from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit the FISH Food Pantry.

From 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, families are invited to visit with Santa at Centerville School in Randall Oaks Park, off Randall Road, north of Route 72 in West Dundee. There will be crafts for kids of all ages and treats. Cameras are welcome. There is no charge. Donations are appreciated.
