Dickens of a Holiday in Libertyville

The annual Dickens of a Holiday event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Dec. 6 and 13, in downtown Libertyville. Visitors can savor an English tea, visit with Santa or look for gifts at the kids-only Holiday Shoppe during what has become a tradition. The tea begins each Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church. Call (847) 680-0336 or visit mainstreetlibertyville.org for reservations. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be outside in their sleigh in Cook Park on Milwaukee Avenue from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., and there will be tours of the Ansel B. Cook home.
