The Fox Valley Festival Chorus, under the direction of Mary Beth McCarthy, is putting finishing touches on its annual holiday concert which will include a number of favorites including "The Hallelujah Chorus," "Hodie Christus Est," "Santa Claus Boogie" and many more.

Special features of the concert include several numbers with the Festival Chorus Brass assisting accompanist Bonnie Werthmann to add to the grandeur as well as the fun of the occasion.

The chorus also will also introduce two movements from Mark Hayes' "Requiem," which members of the group will be performing at Lincoln Center in New York City under the direction of Hayes himself in May 2015.

Two performances are scheduled: Saturday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 Route 25 in Oswego, and Sunday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. in the auditorium at Waubonsee Community College, Route 47 and Waubonsee Drive in Sugar Grove. For this new location use the north entrance for easier access to the parking.
