Elgin man robbed in his home
A man reported being robbed, possibly at gunpoint, early Friday morning in his home in Elgin, police said.
The victim was not injured in the robbery that took place in the 0-100 block of Hemlock Court about 1:30 a.m., Elgin Police Cmdr. Glenn Theriault said.
Three people entered the home and one displayed a weapon, potentially a handgun, and took a cellphone and some cash, Theriault said. The offenders came and left in a car.
Police continue to investigate, Theriault said.
