Christmas concert in Lake Villa:
The Lakes Area Community Band's Christmas Concert is Sunday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Lakes Community High School Auditorium at Grass Lake and Deep Lake roads in Lake Villa. Along with the band playing traditional Christmas music, the Antioch Festival Chorus will perform as will Jessica Lamberty singing "Silent Night" and "Let it Go" from Disney's "Frozen." Featured pieces from the band include "White Christmas," "March of the Toys," "Sleigh Ride," "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas," plus a collage of classic Christmas music including an audience singalong.
