See more than 20,000 twinkling holiday lights and light displays as the Cosley Zoo, at 1356 N Gary Ave., Wheaton, hosts its annual Festival of Lights. Nu-metal returns

If you're looking for a post-Turkey Day jolt, consider the “Prepare For Hell” tour, which makes a stop at the Allstate Arena, 6920 N. Mannheim Road, Rosemont, this weekend. The headliner is Slipknot, a mask-and-costume-wearing band that emerged from Iowa in the late-1990s and became part of the “nu-metal” movement. The group is touring behind “The Gray Chapter,” which came out in October. Fellow nu-metal band Korn and opening act King 810 will also perform. Tickets start at $39.50.
