Dist. 220 seeks donations for Barrington-area family who lost house in fire

Barrington Area Unit School District 220 is seeking clothing donations for a district family who lost most of their belongings in a house fire last week, according to the district's Facebook page.

The family is living in temporary housing and will be able to move back into their home in five to six months, according to the district.

If members of the public would like to donate clothes, toiletries or other basic necessities to the family, they can do so by taking items to the Barrington High School guidance office when school resumes Dec. 1

The family members are a 6-year-old girl, who wears size 7; a 9-year-old girl, who wears size 12; a 10-year-old boy, who wears size 14; a 17-year-old girl, who wears women's size 14 pants and size large shirts; and their mother, who wears size large clothing.
